Nodes
Configuring nodes is pivotal to shaping your chatbot's conversation flow effectively. In Iris Engage, nodes are the building blocks of your bot's interactions. Here's how you can configure them:
Welcome Node
The "Welcome" Node is the initial point where interactions begin. Please note that only text messages are allowed on the "Welcome" Node, making it ideal for setting a warm greeting message or an introductory statement. If you want to configure a Greeting Message & menu on the first node, you can skip Welcome Node (keep this node blank) & configure Start Node. If you have enabled multiple languages on the Bot, you can click on the "+" sign to configure other languages. Here is an example of a Welcome Node:

Start Node
The "Start" Node serves as the launchpad for your bot's conversations. From here, your bot can branch out into various paths/child nodes based on user input. Before configuring the message, click on the "Edit Node" Option as shown in the below screenshot.

Select appropriate Message Type from the dropdown and click "Save"

Refer Configure Menu Option to understand how to Add messages configure actions inside a Node.
Create New Node / Edit Node
Click on 'Create New Node' to generate a new node under the selected parent node. Alternatively, choose the 'Edit Node' option to modify an existing node

Choose a Parent Menu in the 'Menu basedOn' field. Provide a name for the Node. Use the 'Message Type' dropdown to specify the type of the Node. Finally, click the 'Save' button to apply your changes.
